Browser storage
This version sets no first-party tracking cookies and includes no advertising or analytics tools. It uses localStorage for preferences: peace-theme for light/dark mode and peace-privacy for preference storage and YouTube permission. Values remain until deleted, without automatic expiry. The site remains usable when browser storage is blocked.
Search and shared links
Site search runs in your browser. Agreement, people and timeline filters, comparison choices and map selections may appear in the page URL. URLs enter browsing history and copied links, and may enter hosting logs on page load. Do not enter sensitive personal information in search fields.
YouTube videos
Players do not load automatically. Permission is requested before the first connection to YouTube; you may allow one video or remember permission. Even with remembered permission, a video still requires a click to load. The player uses YouTube Privacy Enhanced Mode, which does not guarantee that no data is collected. After loading, Google may receive your IP address, browser information and interaction data, and use cookies or storage under its own policy.
Your controls
Privacy settings let you disable remembered display preferences, revoke YouTube permission and delete site preferences. Revoking YouTube permission removes and stops players already loaded on the page. Deleting site preferences does not erase data already sent to third parties, their cookies or browsing history; manage those through your browser and the provider.
Hosting and contact
The host may process access logs and technical data such as IP address, time, requested URL and browser type for operations and security. Provider details, policy and retention periods must be completed before publication. This version has no data-collection form. Email contact, once configured, includes the details you choose to send; include only what is needed for your request.
